   Looks Like No Tropical Issues for the Coastal Bend For At Least the Next 10 Days   

A few of the tropical models are 'hinting' at some development in the northeast region of the Gulf in the next 10 days or so. Way to early to put any faith in this. We will watch the updates on all models regarding this.

Large pockets of upper level saharian dust, strong wind shear and strong upper level westerly winds in the Atlantic and Gulf regions continue to limit any tropical formation.

There is a stalled frontal boundry along the northern Gulf coastline from Louisianna to Florida that is causing all of the online hype. This will produce a lot of rain and possible flooding.

However, at this time the timeframe is too far out to have any real confidence, and the atmospheric environment is actively working against development.

We will of course monitor this closely.
